Down Syndrome is a genetic chromosomal condition where a person is born with 47 chromosomes instead of the usual 46. Most cases of Down Syndrome are classified as trisomy 21 or nondisjunction where chromosome 21 is copied three times instead of two. There are also two other types of the condition called translocation and mosaicism. Down syndrome remains the most common chromosomal condition diagnosed in the United States. Each year, about 6,000 babies born in the United States have Down syndrome. This means that Down syndrome occurs in about 1 in every 700 babies. More than 400,000 people in the United States are living with Down Syndrome. An increase in education and family support have helped to enable those with Down Syndrome to live full lives. Are you thinking, why $6.99 for shipping for a $2.50 wristband?
Here's why. The $6.99 includes having a human available to locate and pick your item(s) in the warehouse and get them to the shipping station, then verify accuracy, then select packaging material, then package your shipment, weigh it, then calculate and apply First Class postage which at a minimum is $4.10 to $5.10 based on your zip code, and then assure it is picked up the same day for you, Monday - Friday. On some items the postage alone is $10 and we lose money on shipping, but overall at $6.99 we generally hope to break even on shipping and handling costs.
If you choose to upgrade your shipping to a UPS service, you will be billed actual UPS shipping costs for that service plus a small charge for our fulfilment expense.
Orders shipping to Canada, United Kingdom, Japan or Puerto Rico are not eligible for free shipping, but you can select these shipping destinations and we'll show you the rate.

Display on your car, SUV, van, truck or any metalic surface except aluminum. Also works great on a metal whiteboard at work, or the fridge at home .Get creative! The best part about a magnet is that you can put it on, take it off, and move it around. Simple instructions: Stick on. Pull off.
If outdoors, do remove and clean under your magnet once in a while (weekly is best, but less often is OK too unless you live in a desert where everything gets baked on). Also remember that direct sun will eventually cause color fading on your magnet if you car stays outdoors all day long.
Car wash high pressure sprayers and brushes are known to occasionally keep car magnets as souvenirs. Best to remove before sending your car to the shower, or, just be sure to check before you leave the car wash.
(If ever your magnet gets an attitude and is stubborn about coming off, warm it up a little, or even pour a little water with dishwashing liquid on it and you should win the battle, leaving the surface underneath just fine. We've sold over a million magnets and only heard of this happening a handful of times but we thought we'd mention it anyway).
